About

Finding the Best Healthcare You Can Afford was written to help people who do not currently have a primary care doctor or specialist or are considering a change.  It reviews the most relevant online resources available to help choose a doctors, hospitals and health plans in a way that will give the consumer a fresh perspective on how to choose.

While this report is based on Massachusetts, the techniques and and most of the resources cited can be used anywhere in the United States.  Publication of this report is the beginning of a long term effort to educate healthcare consumers.  Discussions are under way to conduct workshops and lectures and to prepare similar reports for other metropolitan areas, such as New York, San Francisco and South Florida.
